Angel City Jazz Fest

A fun and spontaneous brand identity for LA’s annual experimental jazz festivalThe Angel City Jazz Festival is an annual celebration of progressive and experimental jazz music held at multiple venues across Los Angeles. Pulling inspiration from experimental graphic music notation popularized during the 50s, we created a system of simple shapes and playful compositions to connote the spontenaeity of jazz music. On top of the identity, deliverables include poster and merch designs, graphics for social media, and a promotional trailer.
